Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the Whispering Angels, a non-profit organization located in Rosamond, California. For 11 years now we have provided Thanksgiving meals to the homeless and unfortunate people here in our community and communities all around us, we also have some transients from the Kern County area. Through our program we have provided many families and individuals a sincere and warming holiday meal that they would not be able to provide for themselves. Many of the people are homeless, or they live in substandard housing and have no means to cook a meal for themselves or their families and children. We do show that we do care about them all. It is that time of year again that we are asking for donations for our Thanksgiving dinner for the unfortunate families and individuals.

Because of the detication and hard work of our volunteers and donors, we have been able to provide Thanksgiving dinners for the past 10 years. We are the only non-profit oranization within our area that provides this meal for the needy. This meal will be held on November 19, 2007 at our local community center Hummel Hall which we rent every year. We also pay for security and the Insurance for the use of the building. Our population of the homeless and unfortunate families and Individuals that are in need grow each year,.
